Terms of Use

These terms cover the xpenses app and xpenses+. By using xpenses, you accept them. "We" means the xpenses project, made by Lev Poznyakov.

The license

xpenses is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add to it; where they differ, Apple's agreement applies.

xpenses+

xpenses+ unlocks unlimited wallets, CSV export, custom wallet icons and custom currencies. It is offered as:

• Lifetime: a one-time purchase that doesn't renew.
• Annual and Monthly: auto-renewable subscriptions.

Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically at the price shown in the app unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions; cancelling stops the next renewal, and xpenses+ stays on until the period ends. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Purchases can be shared with your Family Sharing group. Use Restore Purchases in the app on a new device.

Your data

Your data is yours, and stays on your devices and in your iCloud, as the Privacy Policy explains. Keep your own backups, for example with CSV export. We can't restore data that is deleted from your devices and iCloud.

Not financial advice

xpenses helps you record and review your own spending. Exchange rates come from a free public source, can be delayed or wrong, and are for reference only. Nothing in the app is financial, tax or investment advice.

No warranty

xpenses is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any damages arising from its use, including lost data or decisions based on the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law of your country that can't be limited.

Changes

We may change xpenses and these terms. We post changes to the terms on this page with a new effective date. Using xpenses after a change means you accept the new terms.
